We are proud supporters of

NoBSLNoVote-social-1.jpeg

This is a crucial time in politics, where every member of society should be able to make an informed vote about the country that they live in. With so many Deaf community members using British Sign Language (BSL) as their first language, without translations they will not be able to have access to this critical information.

Signapse, alongside 21 other signatories from the d/Deaf and disabled community, have requested from all political parties that BSL is provided for all electoral information and broadcasts. Other supporters include Disability Rights UK, Royal Association for Deaf people, Inspire Legal Group, Action Deafness, Deaf and Equal Ltd, Cambridgeshire Deaf Association, Liam O'Dell, and many more.

Working together, we want to ensure that the Deaf community have equal rights and accessibility in a time that is so imperative to everyone's future!

We invite you to join us in advocating for this critical change. You can help by sending a letter to each or any of the political parties requesting BSL versions of political party communications. Download the free template letters on the campaign webpage.
