Signapse Co-founder Ben Named Innovator of the Year

Signapse is proud to announce that our co-founder, Ben, has been named Innovator of the Year at the University of Surrey's Vice-Chancellors Awards.


"We are incredibly proud of Ben and his achievement," said Sally Chalk, CEO of Signapse. "His hard work and dedication to innovation have been a driving force behind our company's success, and we are thrilled to see him recognised for his efforts."


Ben was honoured to receive the award and thanked his supervisors, Richard Bowden and Necati Cihan Camgöz, for their support throughout his time at the university. "I am grateful for their guidance and am excited to see how Signapse can continue to innovate and grow," he said.

We are thrilled to announce that we have been named Start-Up of the Year at the 2022 Surrey Business Awards. The ceremony, which took place at the G Live Theatre in Guildford, recognised the achievements and resilience of the county's business community. Signapse is honoured to be among the winners, which included companies from various sectors such as technology, pharmaceutical, retail, law, and marketing.


At Signapse, we are committed to advancing the field of sign language interpretation and making communication accessible for everyone.
